Voltarol Naturals Organic Muscle Recovery Gel - 50ml

I am familiar with the more usual version of Voltarol, which I have used in the past, therefore when I saw this new version, I decided to give it a try. Voltarol Naturals is a Vegan and organic muscle gel which contains six plant and herbal extracts. It also contains no animal or animal-derived ingredients which is a major plus, as far as I am concerned. 🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹 When I squeezed some out of the tube, I was expecting to see a clear gel, however, this product has a definite greenish tinge to it which could be a little off-putting, though I suppose it re-enforces the natural element. The description says “unscented”, but it does have a smell, which is not overpowering or unpleasant, and I can definitely smell the peppermint. It is certainly not a clinical smell like the original Voltarol formula. When applying it to the skin it absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky residue. It is also non-greasy. I used it because I had strained a muscle in my upper arm after helping my partner by lifting a piece of OSB wood (my own fault, I know!) The gel provided great relief, and at the moment my arm is not aching at all. Containing Arnica, it is also suitable for bruising. I have applied it to a bruise on my leg, and it did feel pleasant and cooling. In conclusion, I am very happy with the results of this product, and as someone who prefers not to take oral painkillers this is a product I will keep in my medicine cabinet. I very much agree with using natural products where possible, so I would now choose this over the alternatives for muscle pain relief. It really hurt and I knew I would end up with whacking bruise. I then remembered this product, which contains arnica, and put it on straight away, as the sooner you apply it to a bruise, the better. Although my leg was still hurting the cool gel was soothing, and it definitely took the pain away. The bruise is still visible, but I definitely feel that this gel made the bruise less painful and heal quicker than if I had not used it.

First time to try this variant. I love the scent cos it smells therapeutic and relaxing already. Very easy to use. Absorbs to skin fast and relieves tensed muscles and pain for a long period of time. We are regular users of Voltarol and will consider buying this variant again.

This is a tube of organic muscle recovery gel, which arrives in a branded cardboard box. I really like this, and I found it to be very effective. It is a gel, and it does have a distinctive smell, which wasn’t unpleasant for me, but that is obviously a subjective thing. A small amount went a long way, it absorbed easily and there wasn’t that greasy or sticky residue that you can get with this type of thing. It does have a cooling sensation and my muscles were less tense. I can have sensitive skin, but it didn’t react to this, despite a couple of applications. At the time of writing this review, the cost is £10.99, and although that’s on the expensive side, I do think it’s worth the money.

I was first recommended this in France and it’s absolutely brilliant

My wife used this on some lower back pain. The gel absorbed easily and didn't' leave a greasy surface. There' was no particularly identifiable smell but overall it was pleasant. Only a small quantity was needed. After application there was no skin irritation and the gel definitely eased muscle aches allowing better movement. I hope you found this review useful.
